The main beam of the MHT single girder gantry crane is welded with Angle steel or I-beams. Compared with the MH type box structure, it has the characteristics of light self-weight and excellent wind resistance, and is suitable for working scenarios with lower safety requirements and smaller lifting capacity.
However, due to the large number of welding points on the main beam, its rigidity and reliability are slightly inferior to those of the MH type, and there are shortcomings such as the need for frequent inspection of the welding points.
